Our society is constantly reminded by specials on Dateline, 20/20, and daytime talk shows of how dangerous instant messaging and chat rooms can be to our children. These specials discuss how a staggering number of young children and teenagers are solicited by sexual predators every day.
SafeTSpace creates an online community for children and young adults only. This environment would allow children and young adults to socialize and connect with their peers while avoiding the constant distraction and unscrupulous practices of sexual predators. SafeTSpace would also help to educate parents about online habits, usage, and lingo as well as enrich the online experience of children and young adults.
